Playing the waiting game...
Currently sitting in a Starbucks in the shadows of the Brandenburg Gate. The blue lines marking out the route sit silently on the tarmac in front of me. Taunting me with with their quietness on this sleepy Saturday morning in Berlin.
There is nothing like the feeling of a pre-race day.
Tomorrow I will eat up those blue lines all 26.2 miles of them… I just hope that there is some miracle...

Back to the box... And an introduction
So after a week off due to the back injury I wondered into the 6pm session at Crossfit Reading today.
After the yesterdays half my Legs were a little stiff and my left foot had swollen up (although to be fairy this was probably a drinking injury from Friday). The last think i wanted to see was squats on the whiteboard, alas 6x5 back squats were there sticking two fingers up at me.
