2 Normal Guys Doing Something For 2 Normal Guys
In January Chris and I will be taking part in Goofy’s Race & a Half at Walt Disney World in Florida. The Race & a Half (or Goofy Challenge) is a Half Marathon on the Saturday and a Full Marathon on the Sunday.
39.3 Miles (63.24KM) in 2 days.
We have decided to use this unusual event to raise some money for a charity that is close to a good friend of ours.
On 16 April 2011, James Cooper and James Kouzaris were tragically shot dead in Sarasota, Florida.
In their short lives, both saw great value in the pursuit of new experiences such as travel and sport. They developed into wonderful, commendable young men with a zest for life and a love and respect for the world and humanity.
Always A Chance has been established in their memory to change the lives of young people at risk of being involved with violent crime. Through education and experiences we hope to encourage young people to make the right choices and turn their back on violence. In addition, we aim to support the families and victims of violent crime with assistance, support and financial support.
